ENEXIOENEXIO
ENEXIO is a long-standing pioneer in industry, process, and power plant cooling. Its name stands for Energy, Engineering, and Excellence, and it serves customers worldwide.
DRY COOLING SYSTEMS
AIR COOLED CONDENSERS (ACC)
ENEXIO invented the Air Cooled Condenser and has shaped dry cooling technology, offering a full range of dry cooling services.
Its first ACC work dates to the late 1930s, when it was developed for steam turbines.
The company holds a leading position in power plant cooling through expertise in both wet cooling towers and dry cooling.
CLASSIC AIR COOLED CONDENSERS (ACC)
The classic ENEXIO ACC is a direct dry cooling system in which steam condenses inside air-cooled fin tubes, usually single-row aluminum-finned tubes, so no water is needed for main cooling.
DRAFT AIR COOLING CONDENSER
The InAIR is a next-generation Air Cooled Condenser that uses induced draft fans, a design common in wet cooling tower applications, combined with ENEXIO's self-supporting ALEX bundles for better operational performance.
ALUMINIUM FINNED STEEL TUBE SYSTEM
The ALEX system uses aluminium-coated steel flat ducts with aluminium fins hard-soldered to the coating for strong heat transfer.
Its patented self-supporting bundles with integrated headers need no A-supports, only separation walls and hoist beams, which saves material and speeds erection.
- Own heat exchanger bundle production
- Bundle preassembly at ground level
- Only one small crane needed (1 big lift = 2 bundles)
Hybrid Cooling Deluge ACC
The Deluge ACC is a hybrid design for sites that are mainly dry-cooled but can use limited water during certain periods.
ENEXIO is a leading partner in the EU-funded Horizon 2020 MinWaterCSP program, which aims to cut cooling water use by up to 95% compared with wet-only systems.
Dry cooling reduces water use significantly but generally lowers power cycle efficiency compared with wet cooling.
WET COOLING TOWERS
ENEXIO designs, manufactures, and services cooling towers for energy and process industries, with nearly three decades of experience and many installations worldwide.
Its counter-flow designs cover natural draft and induced draft options in composite or concrete structures, optimized for cost, environmental, operational, and service needs.
It supports the full tower lifecycle, from maximum cooling capacity to high operating reliability.
- Natural Draft Cooling Towers
- Induced Draft Cooling Towers
- Cooling Tower Components
NATURAL DRAFT COOLING TOWER
ENEXIO's natural draft towers use in-house thermal design software and more than 25 years of experience, with a near absence of moving parts for high reliability and low maintenance.
Each tower is custom-engineered for water quality, local weather, and uniform water distribution, with a focus on lifecycle cost.
ENEXIO designed the 2nd tallest natural draft cooling tower in the world, 202 meters high, for RRVUNL, in operation since 2015.
INDUCED DRAFT COOLING TOWER
ENEXIO manufactures induced draft cooling towers for many industries, designed to client requirements such as circulating water quality and local weather.
Designs are optimized for footprint, power use, pumping head, and both capital and operating costs, with attention to aspect ratio and airflow velocities to limit recirculation.
Towers are tested to CTI ATC 105. Fill types range from clarified water to seawater, including modular splash and trickle fill for brackish or seawater use.
COOLING TOWER COMPONENTS
NF 20/NET 150 MODULAR SPLASH FILL
A next-generation modular splash fill that suits brackish, seawater, and dirty water. Its self-cleaning design improves heat and mass transfer and lowers pressure drop.
It rests on concrete or FRP beams, which removes the need for stainless steel wires and accessories used with conventional splash bars.
FILM FILL - CROSS - FLUTED TYPE
Reinforced foil edges and a cross-fluted structure give stable, efficient heat and mass transfer, a high specific surface area, and low pressure drop.
PVC construction resists chemicals, bacteria, and UV, and the self-supporting design has high load capacity and reduces installation downtime.
DRIFT ELIMINATOR
The TAP 160 drift eliminator reduces water loss and emissions, keeps its shape at high temperatures, and offers a long service life with quick installation.
SPRAY NOZZLES
Three-layer downward spray nozzles distribute water evenly across the fill. They are made of polypropylene, tolerate up to 60°C, resist clogging, and can be replaced without shutdown.
