Aluminium industry
Light and durable, aluminium is central to modern engineering. It is used in buildings, vehicles, aircraft, electronics and appliances, yet two centuries ago very little was known about it.
Aluminium is a silvery-white metal and the 13th element in the periodic table.
It is the most abundant metal on Earth, making up more than 8% of the planet's crust, and the third most common element after oxygen and silicon.
Because aluminium bonds readily with other elements, it never occurs in pure form in nature. Smelters depend on reliable power, cooling water and utilities. Multiline supports aluminium plants with EPC, BOP and seawater intake services.
