CEment industry
Cement is one of the sectors we serve and is essential to development. Production has three stages: raw material preparation, clinker production in the kiln, and grinding clinker with other components. Older plants use a wet process; modern large plants feed dry raw meal directly to the kiln.
Converting limestone to lime releases roughly as much carbon dioxide as the fuel burned, particularly in coal-fired kilns. Lower clinker content per ton of cement brings environmental and operating benefits.
Cement is mainly used as a binder in concrete for housing, roads, schools, hospitals, dams and ports. Multiline supports cement plants with mechanical, E&I, workshop and supply services.
