Founded in 1976, Fai Filtri is an Italian company that makes filtering elements and components for aftermarket, hydraulic, EDM, air/oil separation and industrial plant engineering sectors.
The company has been led by the Pasotto family for over 40 years. It offers a wide range of filters, including special filters for petrochemical, oil, steel, naval, power and water-processing uses, and has sites in Italy, Canada, Malaysia, the United States and Russia.
HYDRAULIC (SPIN-ON)
FCS series in-line spin-on filters cover flow rates from 10 to 360 l/min at operating pressures up to 12 bar. Research focused on reducing pressure loss and improving contaminant retention.

FUEL AND LUBRICANT SPIN-ON FILTERS
Modern high-pressure diesel injection systems require fuel that is free of impurities for complete, clean combustion.
HYDRAULIC (SUCTION)
SUE-type suction filters are designed for submerged installation in tanks or intake lines to protect volumetric pumps from coarse particles. There are 13 sizes, with flow rates up to 500 l/min and optional bypass valves.

AIR/OIL SEPARATION
Screw-on coalescing cartridges for air/oil separation fit rotary screw and blade compressors from major manufacturers. Flow rates range from 0.6 to 7 m3/min, with some up to 45 m3/min.

MICRO-FILTERING FOR EDM
Micro-filtration elements for cutting fluids, with filtration down to 5 micron, suited to wire and sinker EDM machines and other machine tool fluid systems. They fit EDM tools from leading manufacturers.

DUST EXTRACTION
CFR cartridges support emission compliance and system protection across food, pharmaceutical, cement, mining, cogeneration and painting sectors. They separate metallic, food, mineral, ceramic and organic dusts.
AIR FILTERING
AFN filters serve small engines, screw or piston compressors, vacuum pumps and marine engines. They are mountable with a silencer, suit damp environments, have no metal parts, are recyclable and operate between -30°C and +130°C.
WATER FILTERING
INDUSTRIAL FILTERING
Simplex and duplex in-line filters decontaminate water, oil, gas and other fluids in industrial, petrochemical, hydraulic and lubrication systems. Bodies are carbon steel or AISI 304/316, with flow rates up to 1000 m3/h, pressures up to 40 bar and filtration from 1000 to 3 micron.
Tests to ASME, ISPESL, Lloyd's Register and RINA standards are available on request, and production can follow customer drawings.
Automatic self-cleaning filters use counter-current washing with the filtered fluid, without interrupting flow, up to 8000 m3/h, at 2.5 to 12 bar and filtering from 90 to 45 micron.
