A Fortune 100 company, ranked 94th in 2021, Honeywell had about 103,000 employees in 2020, down from 113,000 in 2019. Darius Adamczyk is its chairman and CEO.
The current name dates to the 1999 merger of Honeywell Inc. and AlliedSignal, and the company kept the Honeywell name for its brand recognition. Its predecessors date to 1925. It rejoined the Dow Jones Industrial Average in 2020 and moved from the NYSE to Nasdaq in 2021.
